If you're using Search Submission for a WordPress website, you can easily authorize your sitemap from the WordPress dashboard.
To do so:
Log in to your WordPress admin
Select Plugins
Select Settings for TrustedSite
In the Enable Sitemap section, click Enable Sitemap.
If your sitemap has already been enabled it will say so and no additional action is required.
Once enabled, the necessary code will be added to your sites robots.txt file automatically, allowing search engines to find more of your content faster.
The feature requires a subscription for Search Submission.
