The Shopper Identity Protection certification allows you to offer $100,000 insurance coverage to customers in the United States (excluding MN, TX & NY residents) and Canada for 90 days after they make a purchase, helping them feel protected and helping you convert more.

How it works

After completing a purchase, a customer will be prompted to sign up for the Shopper Identity Protection service provided by TrustedSite. If a customer opts in, they will receive an email confirming their coverage. During the 90-day coverage period, they will receive reminders about the coverage's expiration date.

How to enable

When you install the TrustedSite app for Wordpress, the conversion tracking code needed for Shopper Identity Protection is automatically installed when using Woocommerce. However, you will need to log in to your TrustedSite dashboard to select an opt-in method:

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. If you have multiple sites in your account, click one in your site list.

  3. From the site overview page, under Set Up click Set Up Conversion Tracking.

  4. Under Opt-In Method, click the dropdown menu to choose your preferred method. Learn about the available opt-in methods here.
