You can easily add trustmarks to checkout using App Blocks. You'll need to have a Shopify Plus site and have upgraded to checkout extensibility for checkout extensions to be available. If you need help with deprecated checkout.liquid please contact us.
Add app block
In the Theme Editor, select the Checkout Page
Select Add app block
Select the trustmark you'd like to add
Position the app block where you'd like the trustmark to display
Trustmark Options
You can easily select the trustmark you'd like to display via the Trustmark Type dropdown.
The checkout extension currently supports:
Shopper Identity Protection banner (recommended)
Certifed Secure engagement trustmark
Secure Checkout engagement trustmark
Please note that trustmarks in the checkout will open to the certification page rather than certification modal.
