When you change your Shopify store’s theme, check the TrustedSite app embed and any inline trustmarks in the new theme.
Enable the app embed in your new theme
App embeds are not active by default in a new theme. For sites created on or after October 1, 2026, the TrustedSite app embed is required to add the floating trustmark and allow other TrustedSite trustmarks to load.
Follow the Enable the TrustedSite app embed section in Get started with TrustedSite on Shopify for your new theme, then save your changes.
Restore inline trustmarks
If you used TrustedSite app blocks, add them in your new theme where you want the inline trustmarks to appear. App blocks require a TrustedSite Pro subscription and the TrustedSite app embed enabled in the new theme. See Add trustmarks with App Blocks.
If you added trustmark code directly to your previous theme’s files, you’ll need to add that code to the new theme’s files.
Save your changes and check the trustmarks on your storefront. If you need help with implementation, contact us.
