Get started with TrustedSite on Shopify

Install the TrustedSite app on your Shopify store, then enable the TrustedSite app embed in your theme.

Install the app

  1. Visit the TrustedSite listing in the Shopify App Store.

  2. Click Install and follow the prompts to install the TrustedSite app.

Enable the TrustedSite app embed

For sites created on or after October 1, 2026, you must enable the TrustedSite app embed. It adds the floating trustmark and allows other TrustedSite trustmarks to load.

  1. Open your store’s current theme in the Shopify theme editor.

  2. Select App embeds.

  3. Find TrustedSite and turn on its toggle.

  4. Click Save.

Open your storefront to check that the floating trustmark displays. Your site must meet the certification requirements for the trustmark to display.

If you change themes, enable the TrustedSite app embed in your new theme and save again.

Add inline trustmarks with app blocks

With a TrustedSite Pro subscription and the TrustedSite app embed enabled in your theme, you can use app blocks to place inline trustmarks on your pages. Follow Add trustmarks with App Blocks.
