Once you’ve added TrustedSite to your site, it’s time to earn your first certification: Certified Secure. This certification lets visitors know that your site is secure, and contains no malware, phishing scams, or malicious links.
To earn this certification, your site must pass our initial security scan. The scan will automatically begin once you’ve installed TrustedSite and should only take a few moments to complete.
To pass the security scan, your site must meet the following requirements:
No malware or malicious links
Not Google blacklisted
Not a phishing site
Not an attack site
Not a compromised site
After passing the initial scan, you will be able to display the floating trustmark on your site. TrustedSite Certification Pro users will also get access to the banner trustmark and Certified Secure engagement trustmark.
Your site will be scanned weekly to ensure it remains secure. Failure to pass a scan will disable all TrustedSite features.
