For a site to become certified by McAfee SECURE and display the trustmark, it must meet a security requirement. Among various checks, our site scan will pull the site's rating in the McAfee Threat Intelligence database. If a "high risk" rating has been applied to your site in error you can request a review via TrustedSource:
Generally, this is the fastest way to have the rating adjusted. We do recommend creating a free TrustedSource account before submitting your review. This will provide access to the TrustedSource ticketing system and provide you the option to receive a confirmation email once the rating is adjusted.
Once logged into TrustedSource you should be on the "Check Single URL" page. Select "McAfee Real-Time Database" in the product drop down, then enter your URL beneath. This will take you to the option to request a review of the URL. It generally takes the McAfee GTI team 3-5 business days to review.
Once this blacklisting has been removed, our system will pick up the change on the site's next security scan.
